Who is behind Banzai Websites?
My name is Chris Fryer and I started Banzai Websites in 2018 with a mission to support and uplift local Hawai’i businesses. After a 10 year career at Apple Retail in Honolulu, I became the technology resource for my family, friends, and every aunty and uncle! Like much of Hawai’i that operates through word of mouth, I slowly expanded beyond helping individuals to support small businesses in Honolulu. My wife’s family was born and raised for four generations running a local business in Maui. There is a passion and understanding for what it takes to drive and thrive in a local business. Banzai websites was created to help support small business.
My skills have developed over the years but my goal has remained the same, help local businesses in Hawaii use technology to help their business grow.

Mitch’s Fish Market and Sushi Bar in Honolulu was my first client and I’ll always be grateful to them for their support. Uncle Craig never hesitated to test my skills and always assumed I had the answers. I always took his requests as an opportunity to learn something new and expand my skills. With that push, my areas of expertise grew and so did their business. Mitch's social media account grew from 50 followers to 7500, boosting foot traffic and online orders, we re-designed their website for a more modern look with easy updates, and set them up with a reservation system to free up time for their staff.
Since then I have been fortunate enough to help other local companies with their website creation and social media accounts as well. My skills have developed over the years but my goal is still the same, help local businesses in Hawaii use technology to help their business grow.
